Randolph-Macon College Student Meets U.S. Congressman J. Randy Forbes '74

J.D. Rackey, a member of the Class of 2015 at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, recently met U.S. Congressman J. Randy Forbes '74 when he served as a guest lecturer in Political Science Professor Lauren Bell's class. Rackey, a political science and music major, is from Prince Frederick, MD. He is the son of John and Mary Rackey. Randolph-Macon became the center of the political universe, drawing national and international attention, when two of its professors, Dave Brat and Jack Trammell, faced each other in the same election for the U.S. House of Representatives seat for Virginia's 7th district. Brat won the race.
